The Bring Kids Back UA Task Force is an international expert group established by the Office of the President of Ukraine. It brings together specialists in policy, law, diplomacy, and child protection to design and promote human rights–based mechanisms for the voluntary return and reintegration of Ukrainian children unlawfully deported or forcibly displaced by Russia. The Task Force works to strengthen international legal standards to prevent such violations in future conflicts, ensuring that every action is guided by the best interests of the child.
Investigate and implement human rights-based mechanisms for the voluntary return of unlawfully deported and forcibly displaced children to Ukraine.
Develop recommendations to strengthen the international legal framework, with a focus on preventing similar violations of children's rights in armed conflicts, using Ukraine as a case study.
